Along the Daugava

The river gives Riga room to breathe. Follow the embankment for broad views of the bridges and the old city skyline. Early morning brings quieter paths; evening brings softer light over the water.

Beyond the old town

Look up as you walk through the central streets. Ornamental facades, tall windows and carefully carved details turn an ordinary block into a small outdoor gallery. Take a side street and leave time for a pause in a park.

A day by the sea

The Baltic coast rewards an unhurried visit. Pack a light layer for the wind, follow the paths between the pines and leave the beach as you found it. The best itinerary is often a long walk and a warm drink afterwards.
